San Diego

We're home! It was a great vacation but there is no place like home. Micah had an amazing time at the San Diego zoo and the wild animal park. He didn't care much for Sea World. Allwyn has posted lots of pictures from our vacation on our family page satvedi.com. Check them out and enjoy!

Anika Nova

Beautiful Anika Nova arrived on August 11th at 8:44 weighing in at 6lbs 6oz and 19 1/4 inches. She is so perfect and tiny, mom Cherie and dad Kris are happy and doing well. They are just like naturals. Here are a few pictures. Enjoy!

Another day with Micah

Micah loves to play outside, he loves it even more when the neighbor kids come over to play. His little friend Elli came by today and when she ran off with friends she left behind her purple princess convertible. Micah just had to take it for a spin. He climbed in and had a blast. Chicago ~ The Taste

This last weekend Allwyn's family came to visit from Jersey. We had a great time. Yesterday we decided to take the metra into the city. We left on the 6:20 train (yes, Micah's bedtime is 7:30) We arrived in the city a little after 7. We walked over to Grant Park and enjoyed the Taste of Chicago. We enjoyed some yummy food including sweet potato chips, ribs, sweet corn and samosas. We then walked over near Buckingham fountain (yes, the place we got engaged) We got some nice pictures of everyone and some blurry ones too. Here they are....

Water Fun!

Micah had a blast the other day playing with his beach ball sprinkler. The neighborhood kids enjoyed playing as well. Here are a few pictures of Micah.

Our little beach get away -Grand Beach

Micah and i had a great time with great friends for a little beach get away. Abbi invited Micah myself and Erin and Charlie to her parents beach house. We had a great time. The boys enjoyed playing on the beach. The water was a little cold but they enjoyed getting their toes wet and digging in the sand. We all enjoyed a great dinner and then put the boys down. Us girls had some great conversation over wine and yummy strawberry shortcake.
The next day we had fun playing at the park, and headed home late afternoon. Thanks Abbi for a much needed and fun get away, you're the BEST!!!
