Really? Are you kidding Me?

I know its been very long since my last post but as many of you know my life has been very busy.  I dont have a lot of free time on my hands.  I have lots to share and many updates but it takes my wagon being stole to get me blogging again!
Let me start from the beginning.  We decided we would head to our favorite place the brookfield zoo for a little family time.  The boys just love the zoo! We followed our regular path.  The giraffes were outside today but Micah wanted to see the tortoises inside their house.  So, Allwyn parked the wagon (it was the only one) and we headed inside.  We spent maybe 10-15 minutes inside.  When we came out the wagon was no where to be found.  At first we thought maybe some kids moved it trying to be funny but the thought that someone took it was hard for me.  Allwyn stopped a volunteer and he gave us a number to call.  After 10 minutes a security guard came and took down the description.  Green step two wagon with one door and cream latch, and the best detail it was missing its step two logo (Allwyn remembered that, yes the man who doesn't remember much) and the front bolts on the wheels were popped from some bigger neighbor boys taking a ride last summer (thank you boys but i was annoyed at the time).  She told us she would call if they found it and to stop anyone who had a wagon that might be ours.  I was not comfortable with this! i figured i would leave it to them.  We hadn't made it very far, when my phone rang.  The security guard said they had located a wagon that fit the description in the monkey house 'parking lot.'  She said to send my husband ahead of me to check it out??? We headed over and found her by a wagon that looked just like ours but it was full of someones belongings.  I thought it couldn't be ours who would steal a wagon anf then leave their stuff in it knowing full well that people steal.  She kept asking if we thought it was ours?  It was so hard because i didnt want to be wrong.  She said she would wait it out and speak to them when they came out.  We decided we would look at some of the animals then i asked Allwyn if he wanted to go ahead and i would wait it out from afar and see what happens.  As soon as i turned around to head back that way i saw the guard rushing to her car and i realized the wagon was gone.  What are you kidding me?  How did this happen? I started to walk around the building and there was a young women pulling the wagon with a little boy in it.  I felt a pit in my stomach.  She headed back over to the lot and the security guard followed her and said 'Where did you get this wagon?' She girl didnt answer she continued to question her when i saw the people begin to remove their belongings.  At this point there were 20ish people around the wagon dumbfounded.  They just stood there and said nothing.  Then an older women said the kids took it (um okay) it was just there so they took it.  The security guard then said well would you like to be arrested for stealing a wagon and she said no no.  I walked over and said oh theres my wagon i've been looking for it.
I'm not going to lie i can't believe people.  You just saw a wagon (at the zoo in the wagon parking) and decided you would take it and even if your kids did take it (the only children were prob under 3) wouldn't you tell them to put it back.  Allwyn says im very naive, which is prob true i always want to see the best in people.  Boy did that change today. Lets just say SATVEDI will not be printed very large on our wagon now.  Micah said it best, "Mommy, God will be very sad with the people who took our wagon."
I'm glad our little green wagon is back with our family.(this picture id from 2 years ago, i really need to upload a ton of photos)

I can't believe someone would do that! So glad you got it back. You are clearly raising little men of honor...for Micah to be able to put into words how wrong it was for someone to steal is so sweet!!!!! :)
