The boys only had school on Monday (Jo) and Tuesday. Which meant a lot of free time. We played in the basement, played pirates and even attended birthday parties. Originally the plan was that Allwyn would take the boys down to his sisters for lunch, but those plans were changed. I ended up preparing a Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings for the boys. They were so excited, we even made a turkey craft before lunch. I then allowed myself some adult time in the evening.
Both big boys had parties this weekend. Micahs good friend Neil from school celebrated his birthday at Odyssey Fun World ( i hate that place, makes my skin crawl). Micah had a great time and that's all that's really important. Jo had a party today at Cafe and Play for his classmate Hannah (He was so upset that his party was for a girl) He was very difficult at the party and didn't want to play with any of the other children. He just wanted to climb on me and lay on the floor. Soon after eating pizza and cake he returned to normal Josiah and was all over the place. It was a very long 3 hour party!
Lately the boys have really enjoyed playing pirates. We have pulled out the left over swords from Jo's 1st birthday and have had a blast. We move from one room in the house to the next battling it out. Usually it turns boys against girls (that means against me), i always come out on top, with my awesome moves :)
Noah has had a cold so hes been a bit needy. Lots of hugs and snuggle time this week.
I'm SO looking forward to things returning to normal this next week...
